Principle of switch controlled voltage stabilization
Switch K is repeatedly turned on and off at certain time intervals. When switch K is turned on, input power E is supplied to load RL through switch K and filtering circuit. During the entire connection period, power supply E provides energy to the load; When switch K is disconnected, input power E interrupts energy supply. It can be seen that the energy provided by the input power supply to the load is intermittent. In order to provide continuous energy to the load, the switch regulated power supply must have a set of energy storage devices. When the switch is turned on, a portion of the energy is stored. Release to load when disconnected. The circuit composed of inductor L, capacitor C2, and diode D has this function. Inductance L is used to store energy. When the switch is turned off, the energy stored in inductor L is released to the load through diode D, allowing the load to obtain sustained and stable energy. Due to the continuous load current caused by diode D, it is called a freewheeling diode.
